In need of a break after an exciting day? Relax around our fireplace, indulge in some après-ski around the ice bar or enjoy the sun on our terrace.

The fireplace has a special place in many hearts of our guests. They come together before dinner to talk about the day or just to warm up after a day in the snow.
Around the open fire you can come to rest, read a book or play a board game together with friends. Books and or board games forgotten? Don’t worry, have a look in our library were you will find books in different European languages or choose to play one of our many board games. You will surely find something that will suite you.
Of course you can just relax and do nothing and listen to the sound of the crackling wood from the open fire...

With both Swiss and Belgian traditions the hotel does not lack a pleasant and welcoming bar. Telling stories after a days skiing, get to know different guests or just quenching your thirst, it can all take place in this warm environment.
Would you like a local pint of beer, a delicious Belgian Leffe or a glass of wine? Or would you prefer something else? Everybody will find something in our extensive drinks menu.
Our background music is not a disco, neither is it too loud. We want our guests to be able to recharge in pleasant surroundings. We will gladly treat you to different types of music.
Everything is available for a real “Bar Among Friends”...
Terrace |
Wallis, the region in which Riederalp is part of, is known for the amount of hours of sun during the day. From the terrace of Berghaus Toni you can enjoy this either with a nice glass of wine, a coffee and cake or a hot chocolate. In summertime, under the blue sky surrounded by all the greenery you can enjoy this either with a fresh pint of beer, a lemonade or a delicious ice cream.
From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the impressive mountain tops, the valley or the descending skiers. There is also a separate sun terrace with comfortable loungers were you can totally relax, which makes this even more enjoyable.

During the winter you can relax after a day of skiing in our Icebar. The "Friends from Berghaus Toni" have created a bar made of ice on our Terrace.
Fire Pit |
On our terrace you will find a fire pit. Our “Friends” like to keep the fires going for everybody till the early hours of the morning. This way you can snuggle up around the fire and whilst it is freezing you can still enjoy the warmth of it.
BBQ |
Of course we are not forgetting our summer guests. They also have something to look forward to during their stay in Riederalp. During nice weather we will organise a BBQ on a regular basis with a selection of fresh meat and fish coming from the local market. And of course there will be the necessary accompaniments.
