OUR BAR, LOUNGE & RESTAURANT
At Berghaus Toni we offer our guests a Restaurant with a Bar, Guest Lounge with fireplace, books, toys and games and an extensive Terrace benefiting from spectacular Alpine views and an outdoor fire pit. Well behaved pets kept on a lead are most welcome.
We are proud to be members of the "Walliser Köstlichkeiten" / "Saveurs du Valais" Association as we work with local suppliers and producers offering classic regional dishes such as Raclette, Cheese Fondue, Walliser Teller, Cholera and Rösti. We are the only Restaurant in Riederalp offering these dishes 7-days a week at Lunch and Dinner times! We also work with 3 Vineyards located down in the valley; Cave du Rhodan in Salgesch, Leukersonne in Leuk and Les Fils Maye in Riddes. From Martigny we work with Distillery Morand using their fine liqueurs such as Poire Williamine, Abricotine and Framboise to name a few. There is a Coffee Roaster in Termen, Caffè Sempione, near Brig where we get our Coffee beans and Espresso beans from for our Coffee that we serve in the Restaurant.
We also have a Children's menu and offer Vegetarian dishes. For any guests with special dietary requests or requirements such as Vegan, Gluten or Lactose intolerances we will do our utmost to accommodate your wishes.
You are able to order a packed lunch for your day out or when departing. Please place your order with a member of staff before 6pm the day before. The cost is CHF15.00 per person and consists of two sandwiches, fresh fruit, chocolate bar and a bottle of water.
A Buffet Breakfast is Available 8.00 - 10.00 (Winter) and 7.30 - 9.30 (Summer)
A typical Continental Breakfast from the Buffet is offered comprising of the following:
Selection of breads and cereals
Fresh Fruit and Dried Fruits
A variety of different cheeses, cold meats, jams and honey
Walliser Section with Local Cheese; Raclette, Bread; Roggenbrot and Fresh Apricots (Seasonal)
Selection of juices, Tea's, Coffee's, Hot Chocolate and Ovomaltine
Lunch - In Winter is served between 12.00 and 14.30
We have an A La Carte menu consisting of Salads, Pastas, Homemade Hamburger and our very popular Fish & Chips to name but a few dishes as well as our Walliser Specialities menu.
Dinner - In Winter is served between 18.00 and 21.00
Choose from any one of the traditional Walliser specialities such as Raclette, Cheese Fondue or Walliser Teller or from our extensive A La Carte menu. We also have a 3-course set menu available that changes each night at CHF35.00 per adult and CHF20.00 per child.
