FAQ – Berghaus Toni in Riederalp (Aletsch Arena)

  • How do I get to Berghaus Toni in Riederalp?

    Riederalp is a car-free mountain village and is accessible by cable car from Mörel (Mörel cable car station). Once you arrive in Riederalp:

    ​- Riederalp West station is about 200 m from Berghaus Toni (closest option).

    - Riederalp Mitte station is about 1 km from the hotel. ​

  • Where can I park before taking the cable car up to Riederalp?

    You can park at Parking Aletsch, located about 100 m from the Mörel cable car station—ideal for leaving your car before traveling up to Riederalp.

  • Can I reach Mörel by other means of transport than by car?

    Yes. Mörel is easy to reach by public transport. You can travel by train to Mörel, then walk to the Mörel cable car station to take the gondola up to Riederalp.

  • How does car-free arrival work (luggage transport, getting to the hotel)?

    It’s easy to reach Berghaus Toni on foot from the cable car station. If you prefer, you can also use taxis organised by Walker Transporte for luggage transport and/or passenger transport to the hotel.

  • What are your check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is until 10:00 AM.

  • Do you offer half board and what’s included for dinner?

    Yes, we offer half board, which you can book directly on our website. Half board includes a 3-course dinner menu (drinks are not included).

  • Is breakfast included, and what time is it served?

    Yes—breakfast is included as a complimentary perk with every room reservation.

    - Winter: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    - Summer: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

  • How close are you to the ski slopes and hiking trails?

    Berghaus Toni is located directly on the ski slopes and hiking trails of the Aletsch Arena — the adventure begins right outside the door!

  • Are pets allowed, and is there a fee?

    Yes—pets are welcome (we love them)! There is a fee of CHF 10 per pet, per day.

  • Do you host groups (schools, clubs, companies) and how can we request a quote?

    Yes, we welcome groups of up to 50 people. To request a quote, email us at info@berghaus-toni.com with your group size and the details of your stay (half board/full board, length of stay, special requests, activities, passes).
